Riverview Holiday Hoopla 2012 November 1st-3rd
I have set a goal to try to share as many holiday post as I can. I found out about Holiday Hoopla a little late so I decided to go research it for myself this morning. This may have been a mistake. Shop after shop of incredible décor, gifts, and clothing made it difficult to stay focused. Below are some of the great things happening at The Shops at Riverview’s Holiday Hoopla.

The shop is bursting with beautiful home and holiday décor. From the moment you walk in the door you can sense the holidays from the incredible scented candles to the holiday music, and gorgeous decorations at every turn.
Besides all of the rooms of incredible items, The Clay Pot is more than a shop. Owner Joe Jumper also offers various classes, camps, and events to give back to the community.
Their holiday Open House will run through 11/3, but they have lots more holiday activities planned. I will be sharing more details about those, but mark your calendar for one that is coming up 11/17 when they will host Project Snowman. This is an event to benefit Children’s Hospital and Emily’s Power for a Cure. You can bring the whole family out to build yarn snowmen for the patients of Children’s Hospital at Erlanger. They carry many different collectibles including John Middleton and Ashton Drake dolls as well as to Patience Brewster ornaments. You will find beautifully decorated trees throughout the shop and a lovely selection of jewelry. There is a polar bear figurine on the sun porch that I am pretty sure is going to have to come home with me.

They have the largest selection of Elf on the Shelf items that I have seen including books, cups, and ever “elfwear”. My favorite items that I could not resist were their retro Santa plates and napkins. They carry brands such as mudpie and Lily Pulitzer as well.

They have a lovely selection of holiday clothing for your littles. The girl’s clothes selection is really pretty, but the Sandbox does well what a lot of store struggle to do, which is carry beautiful boy’s items as well.
The Sandbox will be will be starting a week of sales on Monday November 5th. I must admit that I haven’t been to the Vine Street Market in years. Such a shame as I have always loved it. Their baked goods, sandwiches, and delicious Mint Tea are the best!
